Yoga Instruction


The practice of yoga has many benefits. Yoga is an excellent way to improve flexibility, strength, and balance, breathe better, release tension, and develop greater mind-body awareness. It relieves stress and promotes a sense of well being by helping to calm and focus the mind. People who practice yoga find that they feel more centered and better able to cope with life. Athletes often notice that yoga improves their performance in other sports. It can be done by nearly everyone, regardless of age or physical condition.

In my classes, students will learn and practice modified sun salutations, basic standing and seated yoga postures (asanas), inverted poses, and breath practices (pranayama). Each class will end with deep relaxation.

I offer personal yoga instruction at all levels for individuals, pairs and small groups. Individuals of all ages (10 years and up) and ability levels are welcome. Classes are tailored to meet individual needs. Corporate classes are also available.

Fees for a private 1 hour and 15 minute yoga class:
    Individual $50
    Small group rates vary by group size, please e-mail to inquire.
